What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Phone numbers are used for user account verification by sms and for identification in general. We do not display personal phone numbers anywhere.
As a security precaution, however, every staff member is able to see the user phone number on a user profile card from the secure admin session. Only users with appropriate level of access can see connected phone numbers.
All chat messages are encrypted with end-to-end data encryption protocol. No operator or admin can see messages in personal dialogs, unless invited.
All media is stored in original media format, with various format adaptors for a fast preview, physically stored in files named in a way that is hard to guess. When photos are sent in chat, all image EXIF data is erased and images are resized for best fit on device.
